HB 673, allowing ARNPs to certify walking disabilities, has been signed by the Governor.

Effective August 17, 2007, all NH-licensed ARNPs may certify for walking disability plates and placards.

HB 345, relative to certification of death certificates, has been signed by the Governor.
Effective immediately, all NH-licensed ARNPs may now certify a NH death record (i.e., sign off completely, including as to cause of death). Please keep in mind that all unexpected deaths (with the exception of some trauma cases) should still be referred to the state medical examiner for a determination as to cause of death.

As of January 1, 2008, all death certificates must be certified electronically – please contact the NH Department of Vital Records for more information – the Department is preparing training modules for on-line certification.
