NH Nurse Practitioner of the Year

The New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association (NHNPA) makes an award each year for the Nurse Practitioner of the Year. To qualify, the recipient must:

  • be an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner;
  • be a full member, in good standing, of NHNPA;
  • have made a significant contribution to the role of the Nurse Practitioner at state and/or national level, in the areas of clinical, legislative, education and/or research.

The NHNPA Nurse Practitioner of the Year is chosen each year by a selection committee, which is composed of past recipients of the award. The Committee meets on an annual basis to review nominations and vote.

Each year, the recipient of this award is nominated by NHNPA for the annual American College of Nurse Practitioner NP of the Year award, and the New Hampshire Nurses Association Nurse of the Year award (if the APRN is also an NHNA member).
